Steve specializes in working with owner-managed businesses, professionals and individuals. He received his CA designation in 1987 and opened his own firm in 1995. He believes that focusing on client success will lead to his success, and has incorporated this philosophy into his firm.

Steve is currently the Treasurer for his Church and has previously served on the Boards of Big Brothers and the VON.

Over the years Jay has worked with owner managed businesses in a wide range of industries, where he has developed his expertise in tax planning.

He received his CA designation in 1992 and completed his CICA In-Depth tax course, gaining his experience with both national and regional accounting firms before starting his own practice in 2003 and joining partnership with Steve in 2009.

Jay has been an instructor of professional development courses through the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and is an active Rotarian and is currently serving as Treasurer for the Tourette Syndrome Foundation of Canada.

Charmaine Simone

Charmaine joined us in September 2008. Having graduated with honours from McMaster University, Charmaine obtained her designation as a Chartered Accountant in 2002. Her career has been diverse spanning experience in audit and taxation, in addition to working as a financial analyst in the Pharmaceutical Industry. Prior to starting with us, Charmaine was a senior manager in the Forensic Practice at one of the "Big Four" Accounting Firms. Client service is a top priority for her and she enjoys applying her varied experience to each unique situation she encounters in her work. Her husband runs two small businesses so she is well versed in the challenges of entrepreneurs.

As a mother to two young children, she spends her free time enjoying the company of her family and friends.

Marie Rea

Office Manager

Marie is the first employee of the team, joining Steve in 1997. As well as working directly with clients, she is also the office manager. With over 20 years of bookkeeping and accounting experience, she enjoys her relationships with existing clients as well as meeting new clients. She is our key trainer on QuickBooks, the small business accounting system.

In her spare time, Marie, a mother of 4, helps with a family business and participates on two school councils.

Agnes Jarznowski

Agnes is a graduate of Seneca College with a diploma in Accounting and Finance. She has eight years of experience and enjoys working with clients to help solve their problems and create peace of mind.

Agnes is a mother of 2 young children and when she is not busy at the office she enjoys spending time with family, nature hiking and traveling.

Anna Vista

Anna started with the firm on a co-op term in January 2007 and has become a valuable member of our team ever since, while earning her honours diploma in Business Management (major in Accounting) from Sheridan College. Now enrolled at Ryerson University, Anna will continue to work with clients as she completes her Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting.

Family and friends take up the rest of Anna's time; she enjoys traveling and plans on visiting the Philippines often. She is fluent both in English and Filipino.

Pam Holvluewer

Pam joined the team in January 2010 for her Co-op term, and enjoyed her time with us and was excited to return to us on a permanent basis in August 2010. She is currently pursuing her honours diploma in Business Management (major in Accounting) at Sheridan College. When not at the office, Pam is usually spending time with family or friends. She enjoys reading, going out to the movies, and playing computer and board games.

Sunita Pokharel

Sunita joined us in February 2010. She has a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies (major in Accounting). Currently, she is pursuing her Certified General Accountant (CGA). She enjoys working in accounting and taxation. In her spare time, she loves to travel and spend time with her family and friends.

Cathy O'Niell

Cathy started with the firm in September 2006. She brings 20 years of experience in office management for small business entrepreneurs, as well as customer service experience in both the private and public sector. She has taken several management and customer service courses which enables her to perform her position as office administrator and receptionist with great ease. She enjoys the one on one contact with clients.

Away from the office, Cathy enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 sons in the great outdoors, listening to music, and attending sporting activities with her kids.
